Moon rabbits

Age: Moon rabbits mature at the same age as humans and live over a century.

Alignment: Moon rabbits don't tend towards any particular alignment.

Not just for show: Moon rabbits have advantage on perception checks related to hearing and can add double their proficiency bonus if trained, however they have disadvantage when saving against thunder/sonic/sound based attacks.

Powerful Legs: Your long jump is the same as your overland speed and your high jump is half that (rounded down). You can make jumps with or without a running start.


New Moon
The most frail in body, New Moon Rabbits born under the new moon gain the following benefits;

Ability Score Increase: Your Intelligence increases by 2 and your Constitution is reduced by 1

Lunar Focus: Despite being born without the moons light, you can feel it help focus your mind. You learn the Guidance cantrip and at 5th level you learn Melfs Minute Meteors. Your casting stat is intelligence and the damage type is changed to Cold.

Hidden Knowledge: You are proficient in Arcana.



Half Moon

The most common type of Moon rabbit with the waxing and waning moons dominating most of the days in a month.
Moon Rabbits born under the half moons gain the following benefits;
Ability Score Increase: Your Charisma increases by 1

Light and dark: Moon rabbits born under the half moons are naturally charismatic and adept at dealing with people. They can quickly adapt to any persons way of speech they are interacting with and have an easier time communicating with others. You gain proficiency in Persuasion.

Lunar Cycle: Thanks to the blessings of light and dark, Half Moon Rabbits need only 4 hours of sleep. After resting this way you gain the benefit other races would have from 8 hours of sleep



Full Moon

The least common type of Moon Rabbit, having only half the numbers of the New Moon-bor. Full Moon Rabbits gain the following benefits;
Ability Score Increase: Your Wisdom increases by 1

Blessing of the Full Moon: When travelling at night your movement is increased by 10 feet and you can see in low-light as if it was day. Colours seen are more muted.

Lunar Resistance: Full Moon Rabbits gain resistance to radiant damage.
