Pollaxe

Description

A long, reinforced wooden pole with an axe or hammer head mounted on top. This weapon is incredibly common among soldiers and particularly castle guards. The long range and the pike on top means that it can be used effectively as a thrusting weapon, while the axe or hammer head can be used to deliver absolutely devastating blows at long range.
