Aketon

Description

Probably the best armor to get as it is affordable and effective. The aketon is a thick, padded tunic made out of many, many overlapping layers of cloth, commonly linen. It's surprisingly effective against all kinds of attacks for its cost and weight. If one cannot afford the more sturdy padded maille configuration, this is a decent alternative.
