Hold Breath (Ex): Lorb-Lorb Tub can hold her breath for a number of rounds equal to four times her Constitution score before she risks drowning or suffocating. Rage (Ex): Lorb-Lorb Tub can fly into a rage 1/day. In a rage, she temporarily gains a +4 bonus to Strength, a +4 bonus to Constitution, and a +2 morale bonus on Will saves, but she takes a -2 penalty to Armor Class. The increase in Constitution increases Lorb-Lorb Tub’s hit points by 2 points per level. While raging, she cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except for Balance, Escape Artist, Intimidate, and Ride), the Concentration skill, or any abilities that require patience or concentration, nor can she cast spells or activate magic items that require a command word, a spell trigger (such as a wand), or spell completion (such as a scroll) to function. She can use any feat she has except Combat Expertise, item creation feats, and metamagic feats. A fit of rage lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + Lorb-Lorb Tub’s (newly improved) Constitution modifier. She may prematurely end her rage. At the end of the rage, she loses the rage modifiers and restrictions and becomes fatigued (-2 penalty to Strength, -2 penalty to Dexterity, can’t charge or run) for the duration of the current encounter. Sticky Tongue (Ex): A creature hit by Lorb-Lorb Tub’s tongue attack cannot move more than 10 feet away from her and takes a –2 penalty to AC as long as the tongue is attached (this penalty does not stack if multiple tongues are attached). The tongue can be removed by making an opposed Strength check as a standard action or by dealing 2 points of slashing damage to the tongue (AC 11, damage does not deplete her actual hit points). She cannot move more than 10 feet away from the target, but the she can release its tongue as a free action. Unlike a giant frog, she cannot pull targets toward it with its tongue. Swamp Stride (Ex): Lorb-Lorb Tub suffers no movement penalties for moving in marshes or mud. Terrifying Croak (Su): Once per hour, Lorb-Lorb Tub can, as a standard action, emit a loud and horrifying croak. Any non-boggard creature within 30 feet of her must make a DC 13 Will save or become shaken for 1d4 rounds. Creatures that succeed at this save cannot be affected again by her croak for 24 hours. Creatures that are already shaken become frightened for 1d4 rounds instead. The save DC is Charisma-based and includes a +2 racial bonus. Uncanny Dodge (Ex): Lorb-Lorb Tub retains her Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) even if she is caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. However, she still loses her Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. |
