Age

Mabadakas reaches adulthood after 1 year and lives up to 1000 years.

Alignment

Mabadakas are prone to following their instincts to feed on fresh meat and usually goes about getting it through trickery and deception, but can manage to live among society without falling into their instincts, whatever it be with their own kind or others. They are usually Neutral.

Devourer

When you are beside a corpse of a creature that died no more than a minute ago, you can spend 10 minutes devouring the corpse. If you do so, may roll expend any number of hit dices to heal yourself as if you had benefitted from a short rest. Additionally, you gain temporary hit points equal to half the hit points you recovered this way.   Once you've used this feature, you can't do so again until after you've finished a long rest.

Stretch Out

As an bonus action, a Mabadaka stretches themselves out to their true height, as well as stretching their claw-like fingers. Due to this being uncomfortable for the Mabadaka, they can only be stretched out like this for up to 10 minutes. For the duration, the Mabadaka gains the following features:

• You become Medium
• Your speed increases to 30ft
• Your reach increases by 5ft
• You gain advantage on any strength check
• You gain a claw attack that deals 1d8 slashing damage

Once you have used this feature, you can't do so again until after you've finished a long rest.

Telepathy

You telepathically project your thoughts into words to anyone within 60ft of you, you do not need to be able to see them. Alternatively, you can half the range and decide who can hear you, but you have to be able to see them to do so.

What A Cute Fella

You have proficiency in Persuasion and Deception. Additionally, you have advantage on any Deception rolls. This advantage is negated while under the effect of the Stretch Out feature.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Mabadaka, and one other language of your choice.
