Those who study and follow the College of Discord learn the secrets of disruption and are able to cripple opponents through the use of wild theatrics. They are often stealthy, weaving lies and stories to break the spirits of opponents behind enemy lines. Bards who take this path learn the destructive power of words and music more than anyone else. Many who crossed their paths often find them to be extremely layered, hiding behind multiple identities and acting as double agents. While often seen as agents of chaos, bards of discord are also extremely helpful to the people they align themselves with. As the legendary founder of the College, Paimon, once said, “Under a Silver Tongue, a Golden Loyalty lies.”
Expert Conman Beginning at 3rd level, you can choose one Charisma based skill (Deception, Intimidation, Persuasion or Performance) and gain expertise in it. Once per short rest, you could make any Charisma related skill check with advantage. Disruption Beginning at 3rd level, when you or any ally within sight of 30 ft from you is successfully hit with an attack that does not require a saving throw, you can, as a reaction, roll an inspiration dice. The resulting value is used to deduct from the creature’s total attack roll. Crippling Whisper At 6th level, when you successfully land an attack or a spell, you can use your bonus action to cripple the creature. For every creature hit, you must expend one point of inspiration in order to paralyze each one. Affected creatures must make a Constitution saving throw equal to your spellcasting DC or be paralyzed until the end of their next turn. If the spell or attack used requires a saving throw and the target succeeds, they are not affected by this effect. You can use this skill as many times as your Charisma modifier. At the end of a long rest, you can regain all uses for this skill. Wild Reverb Beginning at 6th level, you can use an action to throw off the enemy’s guard. Choose any amount of creatures in a 10 ft radius extending from you and have them make a Wisdom saving throw equal to your spellcasting DC. On a fail, they can only make a single action or move on their next turn. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest. [[Source: Lost Notes of the Crimson Regalia]]
