Features.
Instead of the Hold Breath, Bite and Swim Speed you get features listed below:
- Cunning Artisan. You gain proficiency with on set of tools that you choose. Your culture shows that you are a wonderful craftsperson in this specific area, having had training from a young age. Typically, similar tools run through families.
- Difluorite Crystals. If you are a spellcaster you don't cast spells in the usual way, you simply can't you must use the crystals of your village in some way. For example, maybe your crystals are your spell slots and you recharge them at night? or other ideas, just talk to me about it, make it cool :D
- Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
- Feathers. Your feathers have long been embewed like your scales being around magic and magical effects. You can always tell if there is high magic in a 90ft radius about your person. For example, if a spell is cast or some other burst or continuation of high magic. You do not know where it is precisely but you do get a general direction.
