Chapter 3 Sir Grol's Passion

On the third night of her stay, as they sat beside the flickering flames, he stared at the fire, seemingly embarrassed to lift his gaze. She watched him take a deep sip of his wine before finally speaking, “Princess, it has been decades since I’ve engaged in human affairs, and even longer since I found them interesting. Yet, you have captivated and perplexed me since entering this lair. The past three days have ignited a passion I thought was long gone. I struggle with human interactions, so please forgive my directness: how can I pursue you?” At this, Sagira took a sip of her wine, causing a choking fit that prompted him to come to her aid quickly. Given how hard the past week had been for her, this simple act felt like the most heroic and epic move imaginable. In a spontaneous moment, once the spasm passed, she used her free hand to grab his head and pull him in for a kiss. There was a moment of hesitation before a shared understanding sparked as he matched her passion.

As she began her passionate embrace, his strong hands initially explored her body awkwardly. Despite this, he seemed attentive to her nonverbal cues. He soon heightened her ecstasy as their touch became more urgent, and they started to understand each other's needs. The scent of smoke, sweat, and their shared lust mingled into a heady mixture they breathed deeply. Moving their lovemaking to the furs near the fire, their bodies intertwined in a beautiful dance of first-time lovers, each attending to the other's needs and trying to maximize their pleasure to enhance their own. Their heated lovemaking built to an impassioned crescendo. After their lovemaking and the fire had subsided, they shared a tired kiss, laughed at the situation's awkwardness, and began getting dressed.

Once dressed, Kyklax handed her a stone inscribed with runes. “Be careful with this; you can summon me three times using this marker.” It is rare for a dragon to grant such power to anyone. “Please don’t make me regret it. Now, I think it's time for you to go home.” He extended his hand, and as soon as she gripped it firmly, she momentarily felt the world flip upside down. Then, she found herself in the courtyard of her manor, where people screamed in terror and fled at the sight of a giant dragon suddenly appearing before them. “Only three, Princess.” He soared into the chilly, early morning snow and vanished before anyone could muster a defense. As Sagira watched him disappear into the mist and snow, she slightly smiled and murmured, “He could have done that anytime.”
