(The chapter opens with Karri, Arthor, Tenebris and Johsef walking through the dark halls of the library)
Tenebris: (holding up a light blue fire in his hand as a torch)
Karri: what is this place?
Tenebris: this is the library of Taresseus...this is where that scroll came from.
Arthor: out of all the cool run down buildings that could be important, why did it have to be a library.
Karri: (holding johsef whose eyes are still glowing light blue) why did you lead us here?
Tenebris: Taresseus! Show yourself, I know your here!
(no response)
Arthor: did you say we were the only ones on the island?
Tenebris: we are, Taresseus died more than 5000 years ago, but his Anda Energy still resides here.
Arthor: I thought Orku was the energy you told us about? what's Anda?
Tenebris: Anda energy is orku that is released when something dies. think of it like a foot print
Karri: how is death magic like a foot print?
Tenebris: You can tell whose footprint it is even if they aren't there...
Arthor: so Anda energy is the remains of the Orku the person had when they died?
Tenebris: (surprised) exactly.
Arthor: but surly after 5000 years the footprint would be gone right?
Tenebris: not entirely, Anda energy can be stored just like Orku.
Arthor: so where is he?
Tenebris: that's the question.
(they come to a large opening where tenebris had previously talked to Taresseus)
Karri: (holding Johsef whose eyes stop glowing) Guys look! whatever he's following must be in here!
Tenebris: (looks around at the torches on the wall. He puts his hand on a cord and the blue fire runs up the wall and lights the torches showing the massive hall of the library that tenebris had been in previously) (after a bit)
Arthor: what exactly are we looking for?
Tenebris: im not sure, but clearly there's something important here.
Karri: (looks at one of the walls with a picture of a man holding his hand out) (karri puts his hand up to the handprint and his eyes glow for a second, then it presses in and the temple starts shaking)
Arthor: what did you do!
Karri: I don't know! it wasn't me!
Tenebris: (grabs karri out of the way of rocks that fall) are you alright
Karri: yeah....look (the wall he put his hand up to had now opened up to reveal a secret passageway)
Arthor: a secret passage?
Karri: in an abandoned dead guys building?
Both: awesome!
Tenebris: no, not awesome, this is serious. (they both look at him) okay, its a bit cool.
Johsef: " chirp! " (and points into the hallway)
Karri: I've been waiting for this moment my whole life.
Arthor: what being told by a supposedly all-powerful penguin to go down a secret passageway in an abandoned library haunted by a 5000 year old spirit?
Karri: yep.
(arthor smacks karri upside the head)
Tenebris: come on you two, this place is dangerous, you were almost crushed by rocks a minute ago, we need to be on our guard.
Karri: he started it! (holds up the penguin)
Tenebris: (eyes light up)
Karri: right serious got it yes sir...
Tenebris: (turns to the hall and lights his hand up again) (they start walking down)
(after a bit)
Arthor: (looking at the walls depicting stages of a war with armies fighting against a people with beast lie features and small horns) what are these pictures about...
Karri: looks like some kind of war.
Tenebris: I'm not sure, I don't recognizes any of the people in this.
Karri: whoa that guys massive! (points to a picture of a giant fighting against 7 warriors)
Tenebris: A giant? could this be the battles Taresseus fight in?
Arthor: whose that? (points to a man with long hair and bestial features and two massive horns standing with the giant, a person with wings, a person with a sword as big as his body, and two others kneeling behind him)
Tenebris: (stops) whoever this is they do not look good.
Karri: (from further up the hall) guys come look at this!
(they walk into a large circular room where karri is pointing at the pictures continuing all along the wall until they see an depiction of a 7 individuals standing with 36 people seated around them. )
Arthor: those are the guys fighting the giant!
karri: and the guys sitting around them were in some of those pictures too
Tenebris: (to himself) Is this the oncoming storm? but why are their 7 I thought there were 6.
Arthor: Hey tenebris. I found that guy your looking for. (tenebris walks over to Arthor who is looking at a ornate casket with the words " Taresseus the Immortal - Faithful, Father, Founder. )
Karri: wasn't really that immortal if he died.
Arthor: (smacks him upside the dome again)
Tenebris: Of course! His body was laid here, that's why his Anda spirit was trapped and couldn't be too far from the library. He couldn't manifest again and must have used all the rest of his anda to call us here. but only Johsef could sense it. But why. what is so important here that he would do that.
(they look around at the scrolls strewn all over the desk.)
Tenebris: (tries to read them but can only make out a few words) I don't understand this writing, it looks like Tempurian, but its very old. whatever these say, I have a feeling this is what we're here for. If these have to do with the Oncoming storm, then we need to take these to... (the library starts shaking) He looks over to arthor and karri who see it start shaking and pieces of the ceiling starts to fall down towards arthor and karri)
CHAPTER 16 SECRETS OF THE LIBRARY
(Arthor and Karri jump out of the way of the falling rocks)
Karri: what's going on!
Tenebris: Opening the passage way must have made the library unstable, its sinking into the ground (Tenebris eyes light up light blue along with his rings)
Arthor: (the library starts crumbling) come on! (goes to run out the door as a giant piece of the ceiling starts cracking) if that falls we'll be trapped in here!
Karri: wait johsef! (he looks around franticly and finds the penguin hiding under a table and runs to grab him as rocks fall he doges)
Tenebris: (his eyes light up light blue) get them! (energy starts flowing out of his rings)
Arthor: (looking up at the ceiling) lets go! (it cracks and starts to fall but tenebris catches it and holds it up over the entrance, a spirit grabs Karri and another johsef and the 4th carries the prophecies starts running to the entrance and picks up arthor. all of them run into the hall and tenebris drops the huge piece of ceiling and starts running through the hall)
Tenebris: come on come on...(they see rocks falling ahead of them at the entrance)
Arthor: we're not going to make it!
Karri: not helpful!
(rocks crash over the entrance before they get there)
Tenebris: (eyes glow and flash black and he punches straight through the rocks and they all run past the library books and scrolls falling off the shelves and they rush out of the entrance into the Forrest and get clear. as they look back the library entrance completely sinks under the ground and the ceiling collapses completely )
Tenebris: is everyone alright!?
Arthor: yeah Karri: i think so Johsef: "chirp"
Tenebris: "Hough" that was close. . . . thanks (all the spirits go back into the rings)
Karri: woah. (looks at the library after it all settles completely destroyed)
Tenebris: (stands up and walks over to the entrance in the ground) all of my peoples history...
Karri: im sorry tenebris.
Tenebris: it's all gone...
Arthor: not completely, (holds up the pages the spirit grabbed from Taresseus chamber)
Tenebris: (grabs the paper) but no one has spoken this language in thousands of years, I don't even understand it.
Karri: there's got to be someone that can read it.
Tenebris: the only people I could think of with a history as old as the Tempurians that would still be around is...the dyriads.
Arthor: okay, who are the dyriads?
Tenebris: their tribes who live outside the kingdoms. but they don't take to kindly to strangers.
Arthor: so what do we do?
Tenebris: there's nothing we can do. the nearest tribe disappeared off the coast of the Tempurian islands hundreds of years ago, and the next closest is further than Chelliah.
Karri: You said you had to go to Chelliah anyway. we could get these translate and give the prophecy to the legions on the way back.
Tenebris: no, its to dangerous for you to go outside the barrier.
Karri: if this is that important then we have too!
Tenebris: we are not leaving this barrier!
(they stand in silence there for a while)
Tenebris: let's just get some sleep yeah?
Arthor: yeah. Karri: okay.
Tenebris: (they start walking away from the library) (tenebris pulses and his eyes glow black and his rings light up. he drops to his knees again) "grh" not again AHH! (falls to the ground)
the boys: Tenebris! (tenebris fades in and out of consciousness)
Karri: what do we do?
Arthor: I dont know!
Tenebris: im..fine..i just..(passes out)
CHAPTER 17 CANT OUTRUN THE PAST
(the chapter opens with tenebris waking up in his bed, He looks down and his bandages are still there. he gets up and walks out the door)
Tenebris: Arthor? Karri?
(no response)
Tenebris: boys where are ya? (he walks outside)
Man: tenebris your finally awake?
Tenebris: (turns around and sees the same man with armor on that he saw before on the ship)
Man: I thought you were going to sleep for ever.
Tenebris: you...why...why are you here?
Man: Im making sure your ready for our next mission.
Tenebris: no, your not real, this is a dream.
Man: I can assure you, this is very real.
Tenebris: what do you want from me (grabs the man by his collar)
Man: It's not what I want...Its what you have been chosen to do
Tenebris: (throws him back and starts walking away)
Man: You cant run from this tenebris.
Tenebris: Im not running.
Man: Then what's stopping you?
Tenebris: You should know, your the one who told me my mission was in Barrok
Man: That was just a small part of your journey
Tenebris: I didn't sign up for this, I Told Taresseus I was going to give this prophecy to the legions, nothing else. I have already taken on more then I should have with those boys. So tell me if you know all the answer what am I supposed to do! (his expression changes from anger to sadness)
Man: I don't have all the answers...I wish i did, but this journey is your own. but that does not mean you have to do it alone.
Tenebris: who are you?
Man: A friend. (smiles)
Tenebris: (Wakes up in his bed)
Karri: Tenebris! Arthor: Your awake!
Tenebris: what happened?
Karri: we thought you died!
Arthor: No we didn't
Tenebris: I thought we were at the library?
Karri: After you pasted out we carried you back here.
Tenebris: you guys really carried me all the way back?
Karri: yep.
Arthor: it was the least we could do since you saved us from the library.
Tenebris: thank you. (tries to get up but his bandaged arm slips and he falls to the ground) akh.
(The boys help him up into the bed again)
Arthor: we need to get you to a hospital, this is the second time you've been out.
Tenebris: I don't think a hospital would help.
Arthor: well we have to do something, clearly your not ok.
Tenebris: no im good im good (tries to get up but cant) Maybe your right.
Karri: (points with his head over to arthor who nods and they walk to the end of the bed and turn around) Maybe we could go to the village, If we got him here from the library we could probably get him to the boat.
Tenebris: you know im right here
Arthor: I don't know bro, that would mean going outside the barrier
Karri: If we take him to that old guy maybe he can help
Tenebris: guys we're not leaving the barrier
Arthor: its not guaranteed that he could help, it's not worth the risk
Karri: He risked his life to save us...twice!
Arthor: ffffffffine
Tenebris: no, i told you were not going to Longra milli you got that.
Arthor: (they turn around and walk over to tenebris again) tenebris, we have an idea
Tenebris: I don't think i like your idea
Karri: You haven't even heard it yet.
Tenebris: (annoyed) if it involves staying inside the barrier im all for it.
Karri: weeeeelllllll
Tenebris: listen im fine, I just need some rest. so if you don't mind giving me some privacy.
Arthor: okay. (they both start leaving the room)
Tenebris: Arthor, whatever you guys thinking, please...don't try it.
Arthor: we wont.
Tenebris: thank you. (they leave and tenebris tries to go to sleep)
CHAPTER 18 THE FUTURE CALLING
( The chapter opens with karri and arthor sitting in the living room)
Karri: what is that stuff on his arm?
Arthor: I have no idea, but i think we've seen it before.
Karri: really, you think its that?
Arthor: Im not sure it. he said before that whatever was on his arm was connected to the Kongur somehow but for some reason it seems to be poisoning Tenebris. i just don't know how to help.
Karri: I know one way.
Arthor: Karri no, tenebris told us to stay within the barrier, I also think its a bad idea to go out there.
Karri: well then what are we supposed to do?
Arthor: we should just let him rest.
Karri: and what if this stuff doesn't get better, he's blacked out twice since we met him a week ago.
Arthor: It's clearly not that big of an issue for him seeing as though he took on 5 of the strongest pirates in the 4 seas by himself and caught that massive pillar with his bare hands. do you think a sick guy could do that?
Karri: all i know is that something is wrong with him, that we cant help with. He's done so much for us. if blackheart was sick would you just wait to see if she gets worse? or do something to help.
Arthor: this isn't blackheart, this isn't barrok, and this is not something we are discussing, tenebris said that we are not going outside of the barrier so were not. got it?
Karri: But..
Arthor: Got it!?
karri: ......yes.
Arthor: . . . look im sure he's fine, he's clearly lived with this way before we showed up, he can handle it.
(cut to tenebris in his room)
Tenebris: (wincing from pain and rolling over multipole times in his bed) aghhh.
(his rings start glowing and the anda spirits form)
Alex: tenebris what's wrong?
Tenebris: Im fine, im...ggahhh, good.
Skye: clearly. we're just going to check your arm.
(Marx and Erit hold him down and Skye takes off the wrapping to show it has spread further onto his chest and almost onto his neck)
Marx: Its spreading and quickly.
Skye: tenebris, if you don't do something about this, we wont be able to hold it back for much longer.
Alex: Every time you use your Orku it spreads
Tenebris: yep thanks, tell me something i don't know.
Erit: do you guys want me to go first?
Alex: not now.
Skye: Every time it spreads we use our Anda to try and fight, So if you don't get help our energy is going to run out.
Tenebris: I cant leave now, I have to look after Arthor and Karri.
Alex: you cant do that if you don't look after yourself.
Erit: Tenebris this is serious, you cant just power through it.
Tenebris: Then I just wont use orku, I can manage that I didn't use it for decades before that.
Alex: Tenebris, you cant run from this!
Tenebris: (shocked, remembers the man in his dream saying the same thing)
Alex: If we disappear, then their is nothing stopping this from spreading. it will kill you.
Tenebris: . . . I'll find a way.
Skye: Im sorry tenebris. (disappears)
(Erit and Marx disappear)
Alex: She's fighting the hardest you know.
Tenebris: (looks at his engagement ring)
Alex: She's giving everything to protect you. we all are. (disappears)
Tenebris: I know. (a tear falls down his cheek)
(cut to arthor making food)
Arthor: Karri! foods done! (puts a burnt fish on the table) very done.
(no response)
Arthor: karri? (walks into the living room to see johsef chilling on a chair)
Arthor: (walks outside) Karri! where are you? (Arthors eyes light up red and bursts into tenebris room as he is wrapping his arm up) Karri's gone!
Tenebris: what? (looks over to his closet and sees the dagger missing.) No. no no no no (he goes to run out the door with arthor and his eyes glow light blue but he immediately staggers ) Karri!
(cut to karri on the boat with the key blade) Don't worry tenebris, Help is on the way.
CHAPTER 19 THE PRESENT SITUATION
(the chapter opens with Tenebris and Arthor at the dock seeing the boat missing)
Tenebris: where is he going?
Arthor: he's going to the village. why did he go alone!? I told him to stay here. I never should have left him out of my sight.
Tenebris: Arthor calm down.
Arthor: how am i supposed to be calm!?!
Tenebris: Panicking in this situations wont help, we need to go after him.
Arthor: how, he took the only boat and the key blade.
Tenebris: he took one of them but not the only one, come on (he walks away)
Arthor: one of them?
(cut to karri smacking into the dock at sunrise)
Dockworker: what the hell?
Karri: Sorry! I don't know how to stop
Dockworker: what are you doing out here all by yourself kid? where did you even come from on that little boat?
Karri: Im looking for help, my Frrrrii...aather is sick and he need a doctor.
Dockworker: well your outta luck, there aint no real doctors in this town, your going to have to go quite far to find one bud.
Karri: dang it...One of his friends is here, the old bartender do you know where he is?
Dockworker: Oh your talking about Jaeja, yeah I can take you to em. (they start walking away)
(Gregor looks at from his boat) Gregor: its one of those boys. where's Tenebris and the other one?
(Cut back to Tenebris and Arthor heading through the rundown city)
Arthor: are you saying theirs another way off this island?
Tenebris: Im saying their might be
Arthor: might be!? karri's out there by himself! need I reminder you their are Pirates and Kongur out there after him and your best answer is a might be!?
Tenebris: I know, but I don't have a better option.
Arthor: well then what is it.
Tenebris: (walks around a building) That. (nods in front of him)
Arthor: (looks at a massive boat with the Tempurian flag crashed into the harbor) what is that!?
Tenebris: that is the Timeline, an old military ship. and it might be our only chance to get to karri.
(cut back to karri as he walks into the bar with the dockworker)
Jaeja: Howdy there, ugh come on James, you know you cant bring your kids in here. (karri steps out from behind him)
Jaeja: Oh, your one of tenebris boys yeah? what are you doing here I thought you left with him a couple days ago?
Karri: (thinking) a couple days, its almost been a week? that confusing time stuff was true? (aloud) I did but I came back because tenebris is sick and he needs a doctor.
Jaeja: this wouldn't happen to be related to those bandages would it?
Karri: yeah! how did you know?
Jaeja: Yep, Tenebris has had his arm wrapped for as long as I knew him, which for me is a long time.
Karri: how long?
Jaeja: well it was about 10 years after i opened up this shop that he first walked in. so I would say about 60 years now.
Karri: 60 years!?! (thinking) how old is tenebris, he looks like he's in his mid twenties but this guys known him for sixty years, and he's been on the island for most of that time.
(cut back to tenebris and arthor on the timeline looking for the key blade in its empty halls)
Arthor: are you sure its going to be in here!?
Tenebris: this ship would patrol the islands they had multiple daggers in order to make sure they could get back into the barrier. they should be around here somewhere. (walks into the bridge)
Arthor: even if we find the key blade how are we going to get to the mainland? this thing aint going to sail.
Tenebris: we don't have to sail this thing, it has life rafts on the front of it, we'll take one of those. (looks under a pile of metal and a rusted chair that's fallen over) Ah ha! found ya (grabs a rusted and broken key blade)
Arthor: are we really going to trust that thing to get us through the barrier? i don't want to be like 90 when we find karri.
Tenebris: it's not about the blade itself. its about what's stored in them. (his eyes glow light blue for a second and the rune on the blades handle lights up gold.)
(cut back to karri and Jaeja)
Jaeja: yep, he's definitely my longest costumer. not the best though, he never really pays And he broke my ship.....and my femur.
Karri: well Somethings wrong with him and I want to help. so if theirs anything you can do.
Gregor: (walks in) what's this I hear about helping tenebris?
Karri: Gregor!
Gregor: what's going on kid.
Jaeja: i didn't realize you knew each other.
Gregor: yep, tenebris brought this guy with him on my ship, you should have seen him when we got attacked by them Dead star pirates, he jumped right into action. Got their captain right in the shoulder!
Jaeja: Really!? We'll I'd expect nothing less from a friend of Tenebris. even if he is as young as you.
Gregor: so what can I help you out with uhhh what's your name
Karri: Karri
Gregor: karri that's right, what can i help you with karri.
Karri: I need to get a doctor for tenebris, he blacked out again and this time he's not recovering like he did before.
Gregor: seems like he's got a serious problem, is he or your brother here?
Karri: no....Arthor stayed backed with tenebris to look after him (obviously lying). so I took it upon myself to get help.
Gregor: (notices) Wow that's a mighty brave thing to do karri...you know what, I'll help you out.
Karri: really!?
Gregor: of course, consider it a thank you to you and tenebris for saving my tail back there.
Karri: thank you Gregor!
Gregor: lets get you that doctor.
Jaeja: the closest hospital with the doctors you need would be in Renna. If its related to tenebris arm then I don't think a village physician wont help. your going to have to go to someone with a little more advanced technology.
Gregor: Renna's a long way away since we would have to avoid the dead star pirates. what about a hospital in Egran?
Jaeja: Egran, from what I hear is a pretty volatile place right now, I highly doubt they would lend aid to anyone outside their kingdom right now.
Gregor: Renna it is then. we had better get going.
(they walk out to Gregor's ship and they set sail out of Longra milli. Cut to Tenebris and karri on a small life raft at the edge of the barrier. he holds up the blade and a golden light shows bright all around them)
