Sheets -Layout Data-Organization
For clarity, I am referring to 'sheets' created using 'Statblocks' under Advanced Tools.
Add a toggle button on the sheets interface to swap between displaying the title, and not displaying the title of the sheet. Because the sheet name & title are the same data, it is currently a choice between living with titles, or living with nameless sheets. Alternatively, separate the title from the asset name.
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
The ability to easily toggle the visibility of the titles of sheets which display automatically. This interferes with page layouts when the text does not warrant a title, limiting the usefulness of the sheets. Though this may be solvable with css, the functionality is such that it should be native given the medium, for users with no knowledge of css.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
This allows sheets/statblocks to be displayed in locations where titles would be inappropriate without having to modify css. Sheets are unique in how they allow text to be encapsulated and the ease with with they are integrated with other containers to leverage the security features of the site. However, page layout is also important, and the current system forces the user to choose between three evils when using them. This removes the problem entirely with a single click or by separating the data into 'name' & 'title' and allowing title to be empty. Either way works.
What are other uses for this feature request?
Users should never have to choose between maintaining the organization of the backend of their worlds and the layout of the front end. ANY WA function that links the filesystem name with what is displayed on the page should have this functionality.
