The Chittiki are Awakened

Realizing that the people they created would be several thousand years behind others on Cartyrion in growth and expansion, the Rodinar created a Folk that could make up the difference quickly. They chose to Awaken their Chittiki children on the edge of the great desert basin across the mountains from the Felisean lands - a region where they would be free to expand for a while without clashes. Their children were physically equipped to survive the dry conditions, and were further gifted with the ability to proliferate rapidly. Thus, by the time the Chittiki would encounter and possibly clash with others, the Rodinar ensured their population was strong enough to continue to flourish.
