Forgotten Academy is No Longer Forgotten
On the 18th day of Time of Caleran's Crown in the year 2271CR, Wyrdswyrth Spikeberry, a Marquis of Tyrnabay, received a correspondence from Cricktwo Longwhisker, an Archaeologist in his employ. The letter spoke of the discovery of the location of a ruin that had been lost for so long that very few Folk ever heard of it, and many of those that had believed that the tales were merely myth.
But now, the Magical Academy had been found! The Marquis quickly began making arrangements for an expedition to the site, and for the employment of brave adventurers who would be tasked with entering the ruins and dealing with whatever dangerous denizens and traps awaited them.
It is too early to tell the impact this discovery will have on the world of Cartyrion, but suddenly bringing to light magical items and skills that have been lost since before the The Great Strife will surely have significant consequences.
