Gregory Elantior
Gregory Elantior is the Lord Steward of the household of Marquis Wyrdswyrth Spikeberry. Of mixed Elven and Human parentage, he has served in the Spikeberry Household for nearly fifty years. His began service as one of many butler/stewards in the household during the rule of Wyrdswyrth's father. When young Wyrdswyrth reached his sixth birthday, Gregory was appointed to be his surrogate "big brother", tasked with teaching him fencing, ensuring he kept up with his studies, but mostly keeping him out of trouble. The two became quite close.
When Wyrdswyrth inherited the title and responsibilites of Marquis, Gregory was elevated to the position of Lord Steward, and has been the Marquis' closest advisor ever since. Gregory accompanies his Lord everywhere, ensuring the Marquis is kept comfortable and safe - and out of trouble.
In public, Gregory maintains a stern expression. If the Marquis is present, he rarely speaks unless spoken to, and his comments or responses to queries are concise. HIs mannerisms are restrained - a stark counterpoint to the overly effusive gesturing often displayed by his master. When appearing in public with the Marquis, he almost never smiles or portrays any emotion at all.
In short, it is difficult to get any sort of true impression about Gregory's character from early encounters.

Description
Gregory is tall, standing about 6ft 2in (188cm) tall, with pale green eyes and thick, though always well-kept blond hair. His slender stature - he weighs 166lb (75kg) - and eye color belie his Elven heritage while the short-pointed ears make it obvious that there is Human in his family line as well. He will almost always be seen wearing fine, but practical clothing in the purple and gold colors of the Spikeberry's that he and his family have served for generations. Despite conditions around him, he and his clothing seem to be meticulously clean and in proper order. The one concession he seems to have made to practicality over fashion and appearance is the pair of heavy boots worn in the base camp, as opposed to the fine hose and shoes he would wear back home.In public, Gregory maintains a stern expression. First Impression
When introduced to Gregory for the first time, Adventurers will almost universally get the impression that he takes his responsibilities to the Marquis, and his title of Lord Steward, very seriously. Though he will never say so, his mannerisms suggest he would be much happier in the halls of his master's manor and keep than to be living out of a tent in some remote corner of wilderness. He clearly makes an effort to stay "out of the picture" as much as possible when the Marquis is present, deferring to his lord in all matters -- and he is almost never seen apart from the Marquis unless he is running an errand for the noble.In short, it is difficult to get any sort of true impression about Gregory's character from early encounters.
