Other Astralar Make Their Marks

The Alevar were not the only celestial beings to bring life to the new world of Cartyrion. Other groups began to arrive, and each decided to leave their own impression upon the world. Many of these would Awaken peoples that are today counted among the Folk; others would bring forth creations that do not blend into the cosmopolitan society of Cartyrion so well. Most also contributed to the variety of flora and fauna found on the Cartyrion of today -- sometimes to feed the newly Awakened, sometimes to challenge them, and sometimes both.
The Felisar...
,,,brought forth a number of "lesser felines", primarily to serve as companions to their intelligent children.
The Reptisssar...
...created animals not only to test their children but to provide subtle reminders to others that the Lizardfolk and their patrons were a force to be reckoned with.

Small lizards and snakes darting among the trees in the forests, preying on the eggs and young of Berdea's creations. Alligators and crocodiles appeared in marshlands and along riverbanks.

The nearly barren deserts saw the great frilled lizard-beasts appear. Everywhere, it seemed, creatures with scales instead of fur or wings found niches in which to proliferate.
The Kwanar...
...also added their touch. Berdea had created songbirds, but it was the gods of the birdfolk that brought forth the predators: owls, eagles, hawks, and other birds joind the seed-eating songbirds of Berdea. Crows and ravens were created to serve as companions and messengers for the Awkwana.

The Humanar...
...used the works of others as templates to create new animals that their Human and Halfling children could domesticate. Wild boars were reshaped into domestic pigs; sheep, goats, and cattle appeared to be raised for both milk and meat.
