The Awakening of the Elves
After Berdea created the flora and fauna of Cartyrion, and his partner Atezana had Awakened the Fey, the two were not satisfied that their efforts were complete. After selecting the most beautiful great tree in the center of the greatest of Berdea's forests, the two labored together to Awaken the Elves.
When the Elves Awakened, they were awestruck by the beauty of the place in which they found themselves. They named the great, golden tree beneath which they were formed the Awakening Tree. They named the forest in which they found themselves simply the Elvenhome.
