Description
Hopeful that the attack on River Vale by the goblins would be the last, Balon stands watch as Advisor and council to Linnea, the young Mayoress.
Ideals
Head-strong, and quite the warrior, Balon once protected the village of River Vale from threats himself. Now in his old age, he oversees the village's well-being.
Bonds
Balon stood as Advisor to the original Mayor of River Vale, Eigar Eirwhist for nearly 40 years. Seeing no reason to abandon his position, he now oversees the late Mayor's daughter.
Flaws
Quite stubborn, Balon butts heads with Toren more often than he would like. However, Linnea often defuses the situation before it can become worse.
Iron Will. Balon has advantage on saving throws against being frightened.
Actions
Multiattack. Balon makes three attacks of any combination. Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d8+3 slashing damage. Shield Bash. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d4+3 bludgeoning damage and the target must make a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Reactions
Parry. Balon adds +3 to his AC against one melee attack that would hit him. To do so, he must be able to see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon. Call to Arms. One ally that Balon can see may make one melee weapon attack using their reaction. If his target is Linnea, she may instead cast a cantrip.
