Description:
When the elves destroyed themselves in civil war, the followers of Merion backed Daelas, but when he attempted to usurp Merion as god of shadow, the shadow elves left him, moving to the shadowplains, an underground land of shadow with little light. Now they are a perfidious force, raiding the surface for resources and helping those they deem worthy of the shadow god's attention.
The shadow elves often have extremely pale skin, bordering on being snow white, and silvery white hair. Their eyes range from deep red to light pink in color. They are the same height as other elves.
