You know to inscribe glyphs of protection on creatures or objects which appear as a small faintly-glowing symbol. The glyph lasts for 12 hours and takes 1 hour to inscribe. When a creature attacks something that is inscribed with a glyph, the glyph automatically activates. When it activates, the glyph glows brightly and the attacking creature has disadvantage to hit the inscribed and the inscribed has advantage on all saving throws until the end of the inscribed's next turn. The glyph disappears when the effect ends.
