+1 AC when worn.   The Bronynfel Treads are ceremonial boots constructed from high-grade leather, reinforced with hardened huntald components for structural support. The primary leather sections are dyed a cream-white color and treated with a wax coating, giving the material a faint sheen. The surface is smooth, with visible stitching along the seams, executed in straight, evenly spaced lines using thick waxed thread. The front of the greaves is covered by huntald plates shaped to fit the contours of the shin and ankle. These plates are slightly convex, designed to deflect impacts. Each plate is adorned with a vertical engraving of kneeling figures, facing upward toward a radiant sunburst etched at the top near the knee. The engraving is shallow but precise, with fine lines forming intricate details, such as folds in the figures’ robes and individual rays of the sunburst. The sides of the boots feature small huntald panels riveted to the leather, each bearing a simple embossed design of interlocking roots. These panels are narrower than the frontal plates but serve to reinforce the structural integrity of the boots. The heels are capped with solid ginelwa, engraved with concentric circles that radiate outward from a central point. The soles are made from thick, layered leather, reinforced with ginelwa tacks around the perimeter. The tread is embossed with a root-like pattern, designed to leave symbolic impressions on soft ground. The interior is lined with quilted fabric, stitched into a diamond pattern for even padding distribution. The lining is dyed a muted cream color and treated with oil for durability.
