A gemstone which contains a crystallized bit of spellcasting magic. When you cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 action while holding a mind crystal, you can use it to modify the spell. You can only use a single mind crystal on a spell cast and you cannot use a mind crystal and metamagic on the same spell cast. Once a mind crystal has been used it becomes a nonmagical gem worth 50 gp. This mind crystal enables you to double the duration of a spell that typically has a duration of 1 minute or longer (to a maximum of 24 hours).

This mind crystal glows with a bright blue color, similar to a sapphire.
