A gemstone which contains a crystallized bit of spellcasting magic. When you cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 action while holding a mind crystal, you can use it to modify the spell. You can only use a single mind crystal on a spell cast and you cannot use a mind crystal and metamagic on the same spell cast. Once a mind crystal has been used it becomes a nonmagical gem worth 50 gold. This mind crystal enables you to cast a spell which normally has a range of 5 feet or more (and doesn't have a range of self) with a range of 100 feet. If the spell has a range of touch, then it's range becomes 30 feet.

This mind crystal glitters with a bright yellow coloration, similar to a citrine.
