Versatile Grip style

Prerequisite: Dexterity 14 or higher and proficiency with at least one Martial Weapon.

You have mastered the art of wielding weapons with versatility, adapting your grip style to suit the flow of battle. You gain the following benefits:

Switching Grip Styles: As a bonus action, you can change your grip style on a melee weapon you are holding. Each grip style provides a different effect:

  • Power Grip: You focus on brute force. While in this grip style, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls made with the weapon, but you have disadvantage on Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks and saving throws.
  • Precision Grip: You prioritize finesse and accuracy. While in this grip style, you gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls and your Weapons Crit Range is Increased by 1.
  • Reverse Grip: You hold the weapon defensively. While in this grip style, you gain a +1 bonus to AC, but your weapon attacks deal 1d4 less damage.
  • Swift Grip: You wield the weapon for speed. While in this grip style, you can make one additional weapon attack as a bonus action, but these attacks deal half damage.
