You conjure a mechanical snapping trap in a 5-foot square within range. The first creature to enter or end its turn in that square must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 3d10 piercing damage and have its movement speed halved until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, it takes half damage and suffers no additional effects.
The trap is invisible to creatures without magical sight or a successful Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC.
