A massive lance of freezing energy blasts in a straight line, ripping through enemies. All creatures in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, they take 8d12 cold damage and are frozen in place (speed reduced to 0) until the end of their next turn. On a success, they take half damage and are not frozen.Creatures killed by this spell shatter into brittle shards.

At higher levels: Cold damage increases by 1d12 per rune beyond 3.
