Creatures who consume this poison make a DC 16 constitution saving throw, which they may choose to fail. On failed saving throw, the creature takes 2d12 poison damage and gains the poisoned condition for 12 hours. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and is not poisoned. While creatures are affected by this poisoned condition, they are unconscious, lulled into a deep sleep. Creatures may shake the effected creature awake as an action, removing the unconscious condition from the creature, however they remain poisoned for the duration.

While creatures are under the influence of this poison's deep sleep, they dream psychedelic dreams and visions of the past, the present, and the future. They can still be guided by voices outside of the dream, making DC 16 Wisdom saving throws to follow their guide and make sense of their visions.
