Una coppia di pergamene in grado di comunicare anche a grandissime distanze. E' necessario che le pergamene vengano armonizzate dagli utilizzatori. Una volta attivate, le due pergamene permettono di inviare e ricevere messaggi istantaneamente. Una volta letto o scritto il messaggio in entrata/uscita, questo si cancellerà lasciando nuovamente la pergamena bianca. Solo chi è armonizzato può leggere quanto inviato e scrivervi sopra. In caso contrario le scritte risulterebbero illeggibili ed eventuali marchi o segni di cancellerebbero subito dopo essere stati posti su carta.

Nel caso una delle due pergamene non fosse più armonizzata, l'altra smetterebbe di funzionare e diventerebbe, temporaneamente, una pergamena normale. Quando entrambe saranno nuovamente armonizzate, entrambe riprenderanno a funzionare normalmente.

Una coppia di pergamene, dall'aspetto semplice e senza particolari decorazioni. Vengono generalmente create assieme al contenitore per trasportarle.
