The magician evokes the rapturous energy of the Great Old Ones Invasion of the 12 Iteration of Atlantis and brings forth the modern day memory of the the Titan Nommo's Maul that smashes those weak and useless before zim.   The magician leaps 30" forward and temporarily creates Nommo's Maul, bringing down elder day carnage in an area chosen by the magician a maximum distance away of 10" x magician's proficiency, dealing damage in a cuboid whose dimensions equal half magician's proficiency x 10" x half magician's proficiency x 10" x quarter magician's proficiency x 10".   All creatures in the area of effect take 6d4 + proficiency bonus in magicial bludgeoning damage and 6d4 + proficiency bonus in magical piercing damage and are under the Pained Condition. All targets must make two savings throws, both with disadvantage (no automatic saving throw is allowed):  
  1. If both savings throws are successful, damage is reduced by half and the target is not under the Pained Condition
  2. If one savings throw is succssful, damage is halved
  3. If neither saving throw is successful, Nommo's Maul has full effect
A target affected by the Pained Condition may make a savings throw at the end of each of the magician's subsequent rounds to remove the Pained Effect. If no savings throws are succesful the Pained Condition lapses after a number of rounds equals to the magician's proficiency bonus.  
At higher levels: For each level above 7th level, add d4+1 magical bludgeoning damage and d4+1 magical piercing damage   For each level from 10th and up, add d4+2 magical bludgeoning damage and d4+1 magical piercing damage
