Weapon Familiarity: Terralyn are proficient with spears, slings, quarterstaffs and the unique Rootlash Spear. They also treat every weapon with the "elven" descriptor as a martial weapon.
Earthen Resilience (Ex): Terralyn receive a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against poison, disease, paralysis, and petrification effects.
Rooted Rest (Ex): Terralyn do not sleep. Instead, they enter a deep meditative state for 4 hours. While meditating, they gain a +2 bonus to CMD against bull rush and reposition attempts and remain aware of ground vibrations.
Stoneblood(Ex): Terralyn have denser, stone-infused physique. They gain a +1 natural armor bonus.
Lesser Tremorsense (Ex): While barefoot and standing on natural earth or unworked stone, a Terralyn gains tremorsense 10 ft. This ability does not detect flying, levitating and incorporeal creatures, and fails on artificial surfaces such as metal, wood, roads, or worked stone.
Photosynthetic Vitality (Ex): After spending 1 hour in direct natural sunlight, a Terralyn stores solar energy within their foliar hair. Once during the next 24 hours, they may release this energy as a swift action to gain Fast Healing 1 for 1 minute. Magical or artificial light cannot trigger or recharge this ability.
When creating a Terralyn character, choose one of the lineages below - depending on your characters birthday. You gain the benefits of that lineage.
+2 racial bonus on Diplomacy and Heal checks.
