The Tidespear is the traditional weapon of the Marelune. To outsiders it appears as a beautifully balanced trident; to the Marelune, it is the embodiment of water’s threefold nature. Crafted from sea-soaked driftwood, hardened by moonlight and tide, the shaft is smooth and ridged like the worn stones of the coast. Every Tidespear bears a faint scent of salt that never fully fades, no matter how far it travels inland.
Water Attuned
When used underwater, a Tidespear does not take the usual –2 penalty for slashing/piercing weapons. It functions normally underwater.
Brace
If you use a readied action to set a brace weapon against a charge, you deal double damage on a successful hit against a charging creature.
