A heavy gold locket in the shape of an oval hangs from a long golden chain. The front has a transparent crystal window through which you can see the contents, a wreath of dark braided hair surrounding a moss agate carved to look like the face of Mother Erde. The locket has been masterfully welded shut.

This is an ancient dwarven amulet from the early days of the diaspora. Dwarves still make this style of holy relic and they are often passed down through generations, growing in power as they age. Since this one has not been touched for likely a millennia, its power is faint, but a true shard of the Mother will never completely lose its power as long as her children delve deep into new worlds.
