Hive Mind. Abeil born within the same hive have a form of long-range telepathy similar to the Sending spell. If the abeil is within 25 miles (40 km) of the hive, it can telepathically send a brief message at the start of its turn to another abeil within range. A creature with telepathy can listen to the hive mind communications with a successful Charisma check (DC 16).
Threat Detected! The abeil selects a hostile creature it can see, allowing it to do an additional 7 (2d6) damage with one melee or ranged weapon attack per turn. If the selected creature drops to 0 HP or the abeil wants to change targets, it can do so at the start of its next turn.
Flyby. The abeil doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach.
Multiattack. The abeil can make a claws & a sting attack, a ranseur & a sting attack, or a composite bow attack.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, 5' reach, one target. Hit: 11 (2d4 + 6) 2d4+6 slashing damage. The abeil can immediately attempt a grapple check on the targeted creature with a DC 17 saving throw.
Ranseur. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, 5' reach, one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) 2d6+6 piercing damage.
Composite Bow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, 100'/450' range, one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 +2) 1d6+2 piercing damage.
Sting. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, 5' reach, one target. Hit: 9 (1d6 + 6) 1d6+6 piercing damage & the targeted creature must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 16). Failure: The creature takes 5 (2d4) poison damage & gains one level of exhaustion. Success: The creature takes half of the poison damage.
Drone. The abeil beats its wings in such a way to create a lulling, buzzing sound. Each creature within 60' of the abeil must succeed a Constitution saving throw (DC 14) or fall asleep. Abeils are immune to this ability.
Stormwing (Recharge 5-6). The abeil uses its wings to generate a sonic shockwave with a radius of 40' centered around the abeil. All creatures within the radius must make a Constitiution saving throw (DC 16). Abeils are immune to this ability. Failure: The creature takes 21 (6d6) thunder damage & is deafened until the start of the abeil's next turn. Success: The creature takes have damage.
Nimble Dodge. The abeil can either give itself a +3 AC bonus to an attack it can see or advantage on a Dexterity saving throw.
