  • Concentrated Blast - Make an attack roll against a single target within range, unleashing a single, fiery beam of plasma and spending 4 Power Cell charges. On a successful attack, the weapon deals 4d8 Fire and 2d8 Lightning damage.
  • Plasma Dispersion - Unleash a massive, 45 foot cone of plasma, dealing 2d8 Fire and 2d8 Lightning damage. All targets caught in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Intelligence Modifier.
  •   Special Properties
  • Anti-Armor - Deals unmitigated damage to vehicle internals, vehicle paneling, and constructs.
  • Electric Shock - Targets that have been hit with this weapon's attacks and maneuvers cannot take Reactions until the start of your next turn.
  • Incendiary - Targets struck with this weapon's maneuvers that failed their saves start Burning, taking your Proficiency Bonus in Fire damage at the start of each of their turns until the condition is ended. This will ignite any carried flammable objects as well.
  • Plasma Weapon - Targets hit by this weapon's Concentrated Blast attacks arc Lightning towards one secondary target in a 15 foot radius around them, dealing your Proficiency Bonus in damage to any secondary targets within 15 feet.
  • Rechargeable - Expended Power Cells will recharge fully after finishing a Long Rest.
  •   Loading: This weapon regains half of its charges on a Short Rest, and all charges on a Long Rest.   Jamming: On a critical failure, roll a 1D12, if it lands on a 4 or less, the weapon is jammed and requires a Bonus Action (D&D5E) or an action point (PF2E) to clear the jam but also does 1d4 fire damage to the wielder on the secondary fail.   Handling: 2-Handed

    A short-range experimental plasma emitter that was developed shortly before the Cataclysm, replicated two years after the Dwarves developed and fired the first handheld plasma weapon. This shotgun-like device can emit a blast of plasma in a cone or a higher concentrated blast at a singular point.

    It is rare to find one with how limited its production run was. Most, of the known surface-based Shedari R&D installations were wiped out, as Mudira-Karrah's Plateau of Storms was the epicenter of most of the Karithat-Aldawi. There are a few LightDrives with these rare designs stored on them for safekeeping.
