Arms of Qest'Ehks

8-level Necromancy

Casting Time: 1 Hour
Range/Area: 30ft.
Components: Verbal, Somatic, Material
Materials: One clay pot filled with grave dirt, one clay pot filled with sand, one black onyx stone worth 150GP, & 1-metre of papyrus
Duration: Instantaneous

Reciting the ancient language of Yuan as the pots are mixed, bound around the onyx with your papyrus, the dirt before you shifts in a most terrible manner... the sky darkens like a chrism & lightning splits the air... a foul army musters to heed the call of your wicked ambition.

When you cast this spell, you must first roll 1d6 & examine the following information to see what kind of army is mustered to service you.

1 - Armies of Man - You summon an army of skeletons whom used to be Humans.

2 - Armies of the Mines - You summon an army of skeletons whom used to be Dwarves.

3 - Armies of Elves - You summon an army of skeletons whom used to be either Dark Elves, High Elves or Wood Elves - of that you may choose one.

4 - Armies of the Deserts - You summon an army of skeletons whom used to be Yuan-Ti

5 - Armies of the Conglomerate - You summon an army of skeletons whom used to be Orcs & Goblins.

6 - Armies of the Truly Dead - You summon an army of Skeletons led by a zombified Shabti.

Regardless of what army you roll for, you will summon a force of skeletons in a size equivalent to the highest roll of 3d100; the composition of that army is determined by what they were in life, with the DM telling you what it is upon the casting of this spell. When this spell is cast you will be determined as the leader of their army, you will issue a goal for them to complete, such as assist you in defending a city or capturing said city. After that goal is achieved, the army will crumble into dust, never to be raised again.

Any of the skeletons composing this army who die will roll 1d6, on a roll of 1-2, they are instantly revived, on a roll of 3-4, they are revived but hindered (i.e. missing an arm), on a roll of 5, they are revived but with 2 hinderances (i.e. a sword lodged in their ribcage & a missing leg), on a roll of 6 they simply crumble to dust, never to be summoned again.

At higher levels:

If you cast this spell with a 9th level spell slot instead of the usual 8th, you will always summon an army of strength 100 & you may also choose which species they were in life.
