On your very next Persuasion check, the DC is reduced by 2. For the purposes of applying bonuses to your roll which have the disclaimer of "You cannot stack effects" or similar, this is not counted as an effect. This is due to how it is reducing the DC rather than applying a bonus to your roll.
Note that the components for the material aspect of this spell are consumed on casting.
