This bowstring is made from a fine silver wire which seems to have an ethereal glow when in moonlight, almost as if it was made from light itself.

This bowstring can replace the bowstring of any bow, even magical bows as long as the bowstring it replaces is not necessary for its properties to work.

Moonshot. On your turn when you are about to make a ranged attack with the bowstring, you can choose to say a small prayer to The Silver Maiden (no action required) to manifest a pure bolt of moonlight instead of an arrow. When you do so, you cast Moon Bolt, if you have Multiattack, casting the spell in this way counts as one attack. When you cast Moon Bolt in this way, you use your bow’s attack modifier for the ranged spell attack and the DC of the spell is equal to the number you rolled to hit the target. Once you have cast Moon Bolt in this way, you must finish a long rest before you can do so again.
