Spriggan

Spriggans first appeared in Napa history 5,000 years ago. Being a relatively new race the Spriggans have little history in the Napa Region. Scholars theorize that the sprigans originated from Rioline, as artifacts originating from 6,000 years ago have been found. Spriggans are plants first born when an ancient druid created a city of plant people, or so is believed. Spriggans, being living plants, are mostly amorphous in shape, some however do have more humanoid, and physical body structures. Spriggans usually have 2 to 6 solid glowing eyes. They tend to be species of plants (not trees, nor fungi). Spriggans are the most populous race across Napa.

There are two types of Spriggans: The Amorphs and The Effigeis.

Spriggan - Amorph

Amorph’s tend to choose to have mass to conserve energy, appeal to themselves, or just to simply fit in smaller areas. Amorph’s tend to be more on the intelligent side and less swayed by emotion.. Though there is a small set of Amorphs who are more in touch with themselves and tend to be as emotional as an Effigei.

race features:

Potted Plant: Even though your body size is more malleable you still need a core to hold your organs. This core can be any size larger than tiny.

Low Maintenance: In exchange for getting rid of your stomach you heal and additional 2d4 during a short rest.

WireMesh: Due to not having a solid frame, reduce Constitution Modifier by 3 and put it into Intelligence.

]
race features:

Bend and Squeeze: During a long rest, this race can change their height, weight, color, and/or appendages within reason. If a body part was burned, frosted, or affected by necrosis, that part can not be altered. Allows you to also shift between Amorph and Effigies, doing so too much is frowned upon, however. Shifting converts extra Plant mass into a solid form.

Natural Camouflage: You have natural camouflage when in biomes that match your plant type. (Ex. VInes in urban / Lilypads in Swamp). Forces Nature Check instead of Perception upon stealth check. Gain advantage on stealth.

GLUCOSE!: Allows a Spriggan to survive off of water and sunlight alone. (Water Storage based on plant.)

Body of Plant: Infeebled by Fire, And Necrotic Damage. Immune to Earth Damage.
