Frost Field
1-level Conjuration
Grasping icycles and frozen ground spreads from your body in a 25-feet circle from you. For the duration, the ground becomes hardened and turns the area into difficult terrain. The land quickly thaws once the spell ends.
Each creature you choose in the area when you cast the spell must succeed on a Strengths aving throw or have the restrained condition until the spell ends. A Restrained creature can make an action to make a Strength (Athletics) check against your spell save DC. On a success, it frees itself from the icycles and is no longer Restrained by them.
Alternatively the restrained creature can attack the icycles (AC 15, HP: 5, Vulnerable to fire, Immune to Poison, Psychic) freeing itself upon its destruction.
AN: Made it an self range, but boosted the AoE compared to Entangle.
