As long as this item is in possession, it grants the ability to understand and speak Abyssal, Infernal, Celestial and Ignan(the language of fire). The stone itself causes fiends to suffer the fear effect as long as the stone is visible to them. Under the effects of fear, the fiend must take the Dash action and move away from the stone by the safest available route on each of its turns, unless there is nowhere to move. If the fiend ends its turn while still being able to see the stone, then it suffers 1d6 psychic damage. The stone also imbues any of its bearer's weapon attacks with an additional 1d6 fire damage. It's bearer can also choose to activate Flameskin as a cantrip. Flameskin causes anything touching the bearer of this shard to suffer 1d6 fire damage. Flameskin is treated as a concentration spell with a duration of 1 hour.
