Time crystal (blue) in Dungeons & Dragons 5e

Time crystal (blue)

Adventuring Gear Uncommon [Transmutation]

A small smooth translucent blue stone slightly larger than a golf ball. As an action, you can throw the stone to a point within 60 feet. When it hits the ground, time is slowed in a 10-foot radius around it. All entities within the radius when the effect begins can make a DC 15 dex save to escape it. Objects, projectiles, and entities that enter or begin their turn within the radius move at half their original speed. Entities inside the area are unable to act on every second turn, but can still move at half speed. Inertia is maintained while under the slowing effect, so objects exiting the radius begin moving at the rate they were moving before being slowed. The effect lasts 3 rounds before dissipating. The stone then crumbles into ash.
