1-level Conjuration
Numerous octarine tentacles spring from your hand towards a target within range. Upon impact, they attempt to close the distance between you and your target.
Make a melee spell attack. On a hit, the target takes 2d8 piercing damage. If the target is Large or smaller, it is pulled up to 10 feet in a straight line toward you. If the attack misses, and if the target Huge or larger, or if the target was a location on a solid surface, you can move up to 10 feet in a straight line towards the target.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 2nd.
