The rough work of forging metals into shape and purpose is called blacksmithing. With this skill the character can make tools, utensils, nails and common items out of metal. Most smiths use iron for their forging, but it may also involve some other metals like copper or even bronze. For finer smithing, look to the Whitesmithing skill.
