Botanian

Age. Botanian age can range depending on their original race, but young botanians typically mature at the same rate as humans and reach adulthood around the age of 20. Despite their original race, their maximum lifespan remains a mystery.   Alignment. Botanians acquire a tendency towards neutrality from a renewed connection with the nature and spirits around them after their metamorphosis, and are not strongly pulled towards good or evil.   Darkvision. Thanks to your metamorphosis, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Natural Companion. You have proficiency in the survival and nature skill.   Metamorphic Magic. You know the Shillelagh cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Entangle spell once. Once you reach 5th level, you can also cast the Calm Emotions spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast these spells again with this trait. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Sylvan, and one extra language decided by your original race.
