- Special resistance: When the wearer is hit with an attack roll that meets their exact AC, they take 1/2 damage. The resistance is to piercing and bludgeoning damage.
The kite shield has been a favorite of many warriors for ages. Due to its long, pointed design, it provides much more protection than many other shields. It has the ability to also be either strapped to the arm or held in a hand. Lightly armored warriors find this shield particularly useful, as it covers their body where their armor won't be able to.
