You have quite a reputation and it's not a bad one. The value of this trait is used both to describe how good of a reputation it is, but also how widespread it is. You can use this trait whenever any social interaction happens and the other person is aware of you. It can also be used as a check to see if the person does know of you. Remember that just because someone has heard of you, doesn't mean that they would instantly recognize you. The ranges and values of this trait varies with the setting. This is the opposite of Infamous.

+1: Local reputation. You are at best known in the neighbourhood or town.

+2: You are fairly well known in your particular slice of society. It's possible that even complete strangers may have heard of you.

+3: You have appeared on the news or you are well known in your county. Most people will have heard your name and likely seen your face.

+4: You are known in the entirety of the city or country and most people will know a lot about you from your name only. You are frequently recognized in the streets.
