Lampad
Lampads are a Nymph subspecies. Among the rarest of the guardian nymphs, they tend the few dark, places where the world of sunlight gives way to the darkess of the world beneath the surface. In such places where Berdea saw fit to add his creations to the world, Lampads are likely to be found.
Lampads tend to dwell in caverns or sinkholes where sunlight penetrates or diffuses just enough to allow green plants to survive. Their Lesser numbers are bound to individual locations, while the few Greater Lampads can magically teleport freely from one to another around the world. All Lampads can communicate with the plants and small animals that live in their domains. While they do not venture into the deep underground, they seem to have an awareness of any passages that extend from their domains into deeper parts of the world as well.
