The Awakening of the Orcs
When the Orokar arrived at Cartyrion, they came upon a world already populated with the creations of the Alevar. Blue seas glistened. On land, green forests and plains covered all but the tallest rocky mountain peaks and occasional desert. These habitats teemed with life as well: the flora, fauna, Fey, and Elves created by Berdea and Atezana.
To the Orokar, though, the Fey and Elves lacked ambition and drive. The world needed more. The most powerful among them, Khaara’khaash and Khataala’khraamh, combined their efforts to create a new people on Cartyrion, a people that would call themselves the Orok - a name that would eventually be converted to "Orc" in the common speech of the Folk. The Orcs.
