The Way of the Dreamer
Deep in the Ironhill Mountains, in a location known only to the true adherents to its faith, lies the The Temple of Twilight Dreams. The monastic cult centered there are followers of two deities: Aurelana of the Alevar and Somnion of the Humanar. This sect adheres to a set of principles that are spelled out in a text that was scribed by the founder of the order many years ago. The text's title, like everything about the order, is at the same time both simple and mysterious: The Way of the Dreamer.
The Way of the Dreamer contains nothing more than a simple prayer, ten lines in length. This prayer is committed to the memory of every adherent of the sect, but every true member carries a copy of the prayer with them wherever they go.

Historical Details
History
Half-elves have estabilished sects devoted to Aurelana of the Alevar and Somnion of the Humanar almost since the first Half-elves walked the world. But at some point in history, a group of these worshipers established a monastic sect called the The Twilight Dreamers and retreated into the Iron Mountains to establish their base. They erected the Temple of Twilight Dreams to be their central gathering place.
According to the records of the temple, it was on the morning of the one hundredth anniversary of the dedication of the temple that the monks discovered a document lying in the center of the main courtyard of the temple. The object was a piece of exquisitely prepared animals skin - a vellum fine and pure that it was translucent. Despite its apparent thinness, it was incredibly strong - not even the strongest monk could tear it. There were words written on the vellum, though these were not applied with any sort of ink, paint, or other marking tool. It was as if the letters that formed the words were actually dark blemishes on the skin of whatever creature this vellum had been made from. But the words, written in the fine, flowing script of the Elves of Elvenhome, were crystal clear to read. They contained the prayer that is now called "the Way of the Dreamer".

Legacy
Since its discovery, the ten lines of the prayer are the first thing taught to every half-elf that comes to the Temple to be trained in its ways. Every monk prepares a small scroll of either parchment or vellum containing the prayer, and carries it with them at all times. Should their copy be lost or damaged, they will seek to prepare a replacement as soon as possible.
